Oh man, I'm sorry. I totally forgot you had snails in there. Hope they are okay and just had a yummy meal. My bad. Yeah, totally don't listen to the person with only five posts.

(If you do start to see ammonia, put the poly filter back in. For the snails.)

Dont worry about the snails. If you dont have a source of ammonia then the tank will mot continue to cycle and your bacteria will not continue to populate.
