Glass cleaner

Other than an expensive product, what are other ways to clean the glass (no water in tank)?????

I was told water and vinegar

Any thoughts

DO NOT USE WINDEX at all.

It's very dangerous to reef systems.

water and white distilled vinegar (when tank is empty on the inside). on the outside i use rubbing alcohol on a paper towel and rub..

I've never had a problem using windex... I just never spray the cloth/towel next to the tank.

i never recc. anyone to use windex cause if they use it and it gets in the tank its your fault. but if its done the way we both do it there shouldn't be a problem.

i would never use bleach anywhere around anything we use for our saltwater fish hobby .

I just use some saltwater to wipe down the glass then buff it with a paper towel.. Works perfect...why chance any chemicals...

And why are you ok with windex but not bleach...seems either could be fatal...

And many people bleach their filter socks, bleach live rocks, etc...nothing wrong with bleach...just need to make sure its gone and/or give the chlorine time to evaporate..

I'm aware of that inevo. I would never use bleach even if it has been through the wash 15 times. Not worth my livestock sorryyyyy!

Not me you are talking about the windex? Because I'm not the one who said to use it. if it is to be used it needs to be sprayed in a different room on a paper towel.

Just don't follow why windex wouldn't get the same treatment as bleach... Especially when cleaning glass doesn't require any chemicals at all
