dead anemone

Its this anemone dead? My dads coworker told my dad he can have this anemone if he wanted but it dosent look pretty.

My anemone looks like that when it's expelling waste.

It's usually back to normal the next day.

I got an anenome in that shape when I got my mated maroon clowns. I'm happy to say that after some nerve racking weeks it came back to normal and is doing excellent. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow.

make sure your tank is well established 1st (+6 months) before putting an anemone into it

Not in the best health but good enough if you have proper light, food and environment. It should be back in greatest shape soon. By the time you got it, make sure it's tentacles are not limping and the disc is puffy, not sacking, too.

Does the clown has a smaller fin on one side?
