What's a reasonable price to charge per visit? I'm thinking like $30?
I'm not worried about insurance or anything these guys are doctors they can care less about $$.

IMO ... Less than $50 an hour is a joke, you might as well do it for free.
If you think ANYONE 'can are less about $$', you're in for a rude awakening!
If any damage is done, you will get sued...especially if you are paid for your work.

If I were you, I would do it for free, just for the fun, and maybe this way if something goes wrong they can?t sue you. And try to get them involved in it as well maybe they will get into it as well & you can do the maintenance together.
I love doing maintenance on my tank it?s a type of therapy for me, I do it late at night when its qwite kids are in bed no one bothers me and I just take my time with a beer in my hand

Like Albano said, if you think they (or the building, because that's where water goes when a 350gal leaks) could care less about money you will find out the hard way at some point. Whether the client cares about the insurance isn't really the issue anyway, it's the building who will require the certificate before you can do any work in there.

If an hour of maintenance is all you plan to do on a 350 and keep it looking good than go for it, at least they can't get mad about the money if it goes south. I normally bill around 175/hr but I'm fully insured and know what I'm doing, plus my group installs huge public aquarium sized installs, lab grade equipment rooms, and we can get just about any animal you can think of. If the equipment on that 350 is subpar you've got an uphill battle ahead of you, on top of the coming here to ask questions part.

do you plan on buying water, 35g is a lot of water to carry. if not you have to go the day before to mix water. you would have to be their a couple of times per week.
like mentioned i would just help out and enjoy yourself, I'm sure they throw you a something. and people with money are most concerned about it.

It's actually a 250Gallon. Saw the potential client today, found out the maintenance company uses TAP water lol. They asked me to come back tomorrow to watch them do maintenance get familiar with equipment and they said they want Me to service the tank 2 times a month.

This thread must be a joke! Seriously, is everyone else in on the joke?

This is the worst idea since "INNEED" created a thread and asked for someone to give him their LED light's serial number so he could use it for a warranty claim.

Why keep this open if only sarcastic responses are offered? I can figure out how to do maintenance on my own sorry I asked, I thought this was a fish forum my fault. Didn't know it was the silver spoon club.
