just fyi, I tried calling company that makes seaclone to see if they have any advice, I have been leaving voicemail's for 3 days now
no one got back to me.well what does that tells you?

That they sell so many to newbies that they don't care if it doesn't work!

it tells you to go with a BAK PAK 2R or an Aqua C Remora..im a Bak Pak owner and even though ive never owned one, a Aqua C fan..ive heard nothing but good from both...also the Euro-Reef...but if you have a tank under 60gal go with the Bak Pak 2R or Aqua C Remora/Remora Pro... :D thats my $.02

i have a seaclone 100 on my 55 reef. after about a week, i was about to give up but it just started skimming its but off after the break in. i have had it for about 10 months now and it does fine imo. the mods may improve performance, i may try it. i adjust my air flow just enough to hear the air suck in real good. thats the point where you get no microbubbles and yet a little water flow. depending on the load i usually dump about a 1/2 a holding cup every other day.
