That garf article also states a Visijet HOB unit is a good skimmer to have :lol:. From reading between the lines, the "test" wasn't anything scientific but something subjective which is not evidenciary at all.

sorry i didnt specify about the lights. I bought 3 400w coralvue mh. Coralvue is the only company that made a 400w HQI, so thats what I went with. Did over a month of searching on forums, the web, and fish mag ad's in the back. I just need to supplement actinic haven't decided how. Sorry for the confusion.
