I am sure you know already but just don't fill the fuge up past the point of a power outage that will overflow after the pumps kick off. I turned my power off the tank and kept pouring water in to get the perameters of a power outage. Just wanted to give you heads up if you didn't have that under control. I taped off high and low points on my fuge where i want to keep my water at when i am not home. (safety zone) for my water levels incase power goes off when I am at work.

looks good, good lluck thanks for the pics

should be at the range of 3+ Watts / gallon.
To find out what your watt/gallon rate is, divide your total output wattage by your tank size.
anything is over 6Watts/gallon is excessive!

as of right now i havw 160W on top of 90 Gallons.
So...
160/90=1.78 (rounded up)

that's not 100% correct. there's alot more to it than that. especially tank depth. the deeper the tank, the more light you'll lose on the way down.

it should be ok unless your running anything deeper than 22-24"...
thats for flourescent anyway ...
metal halides do a better job at penetrating deeper water.
here's a direct quote from PFO's Site:
"A quick rule of thumb for wattage in relationship to depth of water:
water 0-18" use 175W, water 18-24" use 250W, water 24"+ use 400W"

and now for anoather contradicting quote :)
"The Correct Intensity for the Correct Depth Offered in:
• 175 Watt for aquariums 18" in depth
• 250 Watt for aquariums 30" in depth
• 400 Watt for aquariums 48" in depth"

Nice to see the wet/dry turned Fuge. Nice work. You have to love the predrilled tanks when It comes to keeping your sump from overflowing if your were to have a power outage. :)

Sequence ReeFlo - Snapper ... i hope that should do ( 2500GPH )
then i will either buy a skimmer or make one and use one of my oddysea pumps and have a spare.
