Are 2 Koralia 1's good enough on a 75 gallon tank? One on each side and maybe later on adding a Koralia 2 in the middle of the back for even more movement. Is that too much or not enough? Shoud I up the number on each Koralia or is that ok?

NO way! Not enough flow.

Yes...up the #'s to (2) # 4's.

Ditto, I would use 2 Koralia #4's on that size tank.

I third that Using a single #3 in a 40g.

In my 75g, I'm using:

1 - SEIO 1500
1 - Maxijet 1200
1 - VorTech

IMO you should be using what Filly said, minimum, 2 Koralia #4.

what about if I use a 3 on one side and a 4 on the other side, is that too much? if not, which one should i put close and away from the overflow

in my 75g along with my return from my sump I have

1 koralia nano
1 korallia 4
2 rio 600
2 maxijet 1200

in my 65g I have two return pumps as well as a seio (?) cant remember a maxi jet 1200, return from the UV (maxi 1200) and a rio 600.

IMO I still dont quite have the flow dynamics I want. I have a wavemakler on the 75 but not on the 65.

I also have a rio 2200 as a return from my sump, a 350 magnum running carbon which has it's own return, and a rio 1100 on my UV return

I used every # Koralia.
I will tell you that all of them have soft flow.

Members here use # 3's in nano tanks.
