Red Sea Max Day 1 Photos

Day 1. I used 25 gallons of Real Ocean Water from Petco. All the rock and sand(Thanks Rob) came with the tank. I need to get my test kit and see whats happening in there. The tank was setup before and ran about 3 weeks.

Looks good, only thing I would do is open up the rock more so water can flow thru more freely and prevent excess build up of detrious in the future.. besides it'll make ur tock look like twice as much and you'll have spaces forf fish to hide and places for ur corals to rest on...looks good tho!

Thanks motortrendz, will do just that. I have to play with it some more. This was a quick setup just to get the rocks out of the bucket.

I was getting ready to do the highly recommend aquascape. when I saw some new things in the tank. This looks like a snail to me, with no shell but what do I know. So I stopped and took a real good look and thought I saw some worms. going over my pics from yesterday I think I did spot some. I will post them too. Sorry for the bad pics. This is really cool. Now let me see about that aquascaping.

Hey dude, it's a bristle worm. It's fine but just don't touch it with out gloves.

They don't sound so bad. I guess when I'm ready, my first fish could be a Wrasses.

Read Sticky Reef Keeping Precautions. You'll see some horror stories lol.

yea theyre not bad.. the big ones can be a neusance but the small ones do a great job on detrious and sifting the sand..

i would open up the rocks a little more than that,make spaces for the fish to swim, and hide. also try and keep the rocks of of the side of the glass, so you can clean the sides easier.

Hey Rob, I'll try it again. Does it matter what part off the rock faces the light and if the feather duster are facing down?
