Starfish probably doesnt like what your feeding it try silverslides. Also read up on your starfish not reef safe.

If the chocolate chip star won't eat, suggest you feed it to a harlequin shrimp instead!

As mentioned - if you plan to put corals in the tank..you will unfortunately find out what that Chocolate Chip star will eat.. :eat:

You can't have one in a reef tank - they eat corals
Someone local to you with a Harlequin Shrimp will happily buy it from you I'm sure.

picked up a yellow tang today

The tank is a little small for a yellow tang. Also I would not be adding things so quickly considering you only cycled the tank for 2-3 weeks, your very lucky your new animals are not dead. Take it slow and good luck.
