what is this bug?

So I found this on a piece of rock that I just got from a fellow MR member. Could someone tell me what this is and what I'm going to have to do if I start finding them in my tank...

I agree with Dave, its a bristle worm and they are great scavengers just not that pretty :tongue1:

Can you tell if it is more pod shaped? As of now I too am leaning towards it being a bristle worm but the angle leaves a few doubts about the true if for me.

Baby bristle worm. I have a bunch in the bottom of the chaeto in my fuge.

Looks like a hairy booger to me, its kind of hard to tell from the pic lol.
