FS: Deltec Protein Skimmer MC500

I have decided to go a different route with my skimmer. This is a perfectly working skimmer. I just need a different style skimmer for my new sump I will be using. Looking to get 225 for it. Skimmer will need to be picked up at zipcode 10514. I Will add pictures shortly.

How old is the skimmer?

I would say its about 1.5-2 years old. I still have the original box and manual.

How was the performance on that one?I bought the MCE300 External.

Its a great skimmer, bought it from another member on here. I planned to use it in my 25 gallon cube tank, but ended up using a different skimmer since I didn't have the space.

Deltec skimmers are one of the best out there. Any deltec skimmer performs well. I have used there AP series skimmers before and had great results.

From what I hear this is one of the best skimmers out there for a 20-50 gallon tank with limited space requirements.
