Decided to move this to a new thread just to give it more awareness - this became alive in brunoboarder2444 thread http://www.manhattanreefs.com/forum/sale-trade/111815-few-lucky-beginners-5.html & hope it growson others as well.
I grew up with the value of sharing deeply ingrained into me. I share my every happiness with others, and it doubles the joy. I share what I know, and learn even more. And this is what I love about This new M.R Generosity Movement/Project.
It enables all of us, to share bits of our tanks n equipment, our experiences our knowledge joyfully with others ( example: used diamond bit to cut holes? *donate it for someone else to use and explain how you were successfull ) , connect with them ( Example: you donate a SpS or a frag of it to someone if it wasn't doing to well in your and you have tried everything , find out how that person got it to flourish so your able to replicate )
Most of the people here I find are kind, generous, giving and patient. Sure there are some who aren't, but I understand, that's life! Ying vs. Yang, we just have to over come those.
M.R. is like a box of chocolates... you never know what you're gonna git, when you sign on everyday
Okay nowww, back to why this post was created. The following are items I have in my posession:
1: Lifegard Aquatics 80 Watt UV Sterilizer QL-80 Information
2: 2 pieces of glass to form a 6' Coast to Coast ( *please have a 6'tank already.)
3: I believe, I may have 3 computer monitor.
1: This is a used - Lifegard Aquatics 80 Watt UV Sterilizer QL-80
- I could only say that it's been in my possession for 1 year and I never used it. I have not setup my tank yet, still in process so I dont know the life span of the light bulb.
Full body pic:
Model # : QL-80
Dimensions: 45.25" X 6" X 15.25"
Max Flow Rate: Up to 3000 GPH
Maint. Clearance: 75.25"
The radiation from ultraviolet light at 2537 angstroms provided inside the Lifegard Aquatics Ultraviolet Sterilizer exerts a lethal effect on micro-organisms. UV light alters genetic material within the cells, which interrupts respiration. UV light, when used properly, is extremely beneficial in destroying disease causing pathogens as they pass through the unit. UV sterilization is an effective method of disease control.
Four major factors affect the percent kill of free-floating micro-organisms by UV radiation:
Bulb changing is the easiest in the industry. Simply slide the old bulb out and slide the new bulb in. No need to shut down the filter system or turn off the pump. Bulb and ballast connect together with a single 4 pin connector. UV radiation levels can be increased by slowing down the flow rate or increasing the total wattage in the system.
Plumbing Note: 80W units have 1-1/4" Slip Inlet and Outlet Ports. 120W, 160W, 240W units have 1-1/2" Slip Inlet and Outlet Ports.
2: 2 pieces of glass to form a 6' Coast to Coast

3: Three ( 3 ) *15" Monitor ( one per person )
- These monitor don't have stands but you may purchase a swivel-arm & attach it to your tank stand and make it look hightech. On another thought you may use it as a split screen/second monitor to always have the tanks controller readings always up.
