Ricky: I just picked up the 65g yesterday (Thanks Sean!). I won't be setting it up until I return from vacation in 2 weeks. I also need a stand (ahem Jonathan).
Jonathan: No problem Jon. I remembered you mentioning missing out on a free tank and I wanted to give everyone here a chance at this one. Funny how it's you who wants it.
Well Jon, the tank is "oak" trim and the floor of the room it will be in is hardwood. As far as preference goes, I'll leave it up to your judgement. I can send you a picture later of the tank and floor if it will help.
um, probably not.
my plan is to collect as many large tanks as I can for future use.
then someday when I can, I'm going to hook them all together for one huge sump / reservoir system.
a few 180's and a bunch of 120's should do it
Sweet deal! Jonatan let me know if you need help moving that thing!
Dean. My stand on my 20 is oak, and my floor is hardwood. They don't look so good together. They're both light stains, but the color is far enough off to make a difference. So I bought a rug to put around the tank, and it looks SO much better. Just a point you can think about. Also, I made the top trim of the tank and canopy cover the tank trim.
