i need some information on coral glue,,pls

i want to know what glue is the best for corals ,and do they make one that will work in the water without stressing out my tank ,,most of my rock are big and set very well in the tank ,so taking ou tthe rock is a NO NO ,,,and using new rock will just over crowd my tank ,can anyone suggest something good to use ,,thx for your time ,

someone told me it has to be a gel, or else it will pollute the water. i bought a tube of crazy glue gel and it worked fine. i just attached the frag to a small piece of dry live rock and held it in place for 30 secs and it was set to go.

this is true, but the gel is thicker and makes setting the coral much easier.
I don't think the thin consistency of the regular glue would work.

Yep, but it has to be a gel to get a good grip.

i have use both gel and regular, but niether will work in an underwater application. you have to remove the rock and the coral you want to glue. the regular liquid super glue is good for mats of zoas, but when glueing rock to rock you should use the gel type. also epoxy can work well if you have a hole to shove it into. epoxy for me is a pita though. if there are no holes for it to be pushed into, eventually it falls apart.

I use this superglue gel from HD. They come in double packs, each one is .07oz. This glue actually does make the bond underwater which helped me out a lot. You just have to take the frag out of water and put some glue on the base dip it in water and take it out...then place the frag wherever you want it.
