that sounds cool ..i hope it start in mine ,,i have some on a few piece of rock ,but its been there for ever ,never had any groth for it ,,i got htis purple up ,,i dont know if it works ,but lets see ,,,it got extra sto,med,cal,so on ,and started the klak again ,,just a bit of that ,and cut back on parts A/B b-ionic a bit

Funny thing...I've only dripped 1 gallon of Kalk mix in this tank since I set it up.....and did one water change when I added the sand to the tank.

LMK how that color up works...always been curious.

But rememeber your using the same water from your other tank ,,,( how big upgrade did you do) and depend on the growth of the algae before on rocks ans stuff ,its possible

I had a great 50 gallon reef/fish for 8 years and never had corallin algae. Tried hard but no luck.

im not happy to here that ,,one of the reasons i love the reef tank is Corallin ,,i want more on my rock ,i have green ,buti dont want green ,,lolpink ,red ,purple ,orange ,

It's growing on the glass..kinda quick compared to my other tanks...usaully took me atleast two months to see any coralline on the glass.

purple up really works. i used it for 2 months when i first started my tank one year ago, and i just started a 2.5 gal tank 4 weeks ago and it has purple spots. when i do my next water change ill take some off, then you can come to clifton nj to pick it up

Purple up is just strontium and molybednum. You can get the same results w/ kents strontium IMO for less than half the $$$.
BTW coralline loves flow 25x turnover at least IMHO will kickstart growth.

Oddly enough my high flow areas are getting growth of it tooo...guess its not odd at all..
