Steve if no one takes the humilis, let me try to color it up

Rich - Its kinda green. Do you think you can change its color or could that just be the color it changed to?

yes they can change colors.....mine came in brown...acclimated it and started moving it up..half way it turned purple, at the top it's blue. High flow is a must and low nutriants bring on the colors too. It started RTNing so I fragged some and broke the big colony in two ..now I have a purple and a blue... :wink1: good luck to who ever gets it..they are beauties.

Paul humilis are one of those PITA SPS as are most thicker branched acros. They can take a long time to color if they ever do.As Mike said, high light, low nutients, and strong flow but it still takes time. As for the green color, I think it was because of Steves phosphate level. I think it could still be blue

Thats good to know. I was thinking about taking it off him but I already took the table and didn't want to chance it on two being a newb and all. But I hope the table colors up for me because Steve is getting a shipment of a bunch of corals in on Monday. So like in 2-3 weeks, he'll probably be selling a bunch more browned up stuff for cheap, so I'll hit him up again for some cheap colonies :lol:.
