Post the pic when you can

Also any of you guys knows how to make an orange cichlids really orange. Mine get lighter coloration than when they come from the LFS. All other fish in the same tank are very colorful though so I guess I am just missing one trace elements in the diet.

I think the diet is the most important part ot color up cichlids, anyth high in Beta carotine like krill. Also some people put up colorful backgrounds on the tank to color them up, atleast thats what i heard about flowerhorns

Here are a couple of pics of my Frontosa. Like I said, it's hard to get him to pose. When the flash goes off, that's it for a few minutes! Sooner or later I'll get a good one! :icon16:

a pair of zebra finches(FloridaFancyXPied)

i wonder if snakeheads would survive outdoors like goldfish???

Do you still have snakeheads. Should have kept them in the tank. They would not be able to stay the cold. But They can stay the drought.

I also have zerbra finches and would like to exchange one so that less inbreed will occur in my cage.

Also would like to trade snakeheads as well.

Noodleman,

My family tradional krill is their main diet already. All other colors are great-the blue is electric, the yellow is more than yellow, the white is snow white, the black is pitch black and silver is sparkling shinny but just the orange gets me.:headache:

Gmandese,

How much you pay for this one? Seems going to be good color and good finnage.

One Parent is Red and one is green. The babies show a few markings-too young to tell the color.

When he comes back, I'll ask him how much he got them for if he is willing to tell.

I saw red ones when they are still not "banned" in US-that is long time ago. They are manificent when grow up, especially when they are over 2 feet. They are now legal to import again. Saw a golden one too in Thai resturant-that one is still banned in US. They are cool, mean looking and yet graceful. Unbelievable fish.
