Salifert, Would this be safe to dose in topoff water? How much should be added for a reef if evap is ~ 5gal/week? Obviously this would be somewhat of an estimate, but any ballparks? thanks! Sean

ok, I finally got some pics, I was in a bit of a hurry so the pics aren't the greatest. specs 18x18x18 cube with starphire front/sides 6x18x18 fuge directly attached to the back. Lighting is 2 75w vho's (they are 24 inches so they light the fuge as well) and 3 no actinics (not up yet)...

i would also suggest feeding regularly 1-3times a week seems to be the norm. Try silversides.

Hey all, just dropping a line to tell you all i FINALLY got my metal halides. The tank is ~80gal, and was previously lit by 4 crappy NO bulbs, now it is being switched over to 3 175w 10k bulbs. I got the ballast today (PFO tripple balast), have the bulbs, and just need 2 more reflectors...

merry xmas all, i got a pfo tripple balast (175w), "aquarium corals" book, and a powerhead...Santa was good!
