Here is week 3 of tank recovery

Okay here are the updated pictures of week three tell me what you guys think i feel that some are bouncing back and others are looking worse off but i dont know if there is still time to help them changed the water yesterday will get readings in the morning i like to give the tank a day or two to settle

I would be concerned about the TN if that's what I see in pic 3,4 and 5. How were your parameters after checking today. Is there anything indicating that there is a problem? Or was that damage from a prior issue. If so, continue to do you regular WCs and try and let the tank settle a bit more. When you no longer see any tissue loss and there is some recovery or growth, it should be ok to start adding coral again.

Here are the parameters i checked to today

Salinity - 1.026
PH - 8.06 Taken at 9am
Nitrate - 20ppm
Nitrites - 0ppm
Ammonia - 0ppm
Iodine - 0.1
Phosphates - 0ppm
Calcium - 500 ( I feel this i very high )
Magnesium - 1410
Alk - 8.0
Temp 78

NO3 is still too high IMO for an ideal SPS environment... try your best to get that down and everything else looks good.. I wouldn't worry about calcium.. Once your nitrates come down just add some more coral.. That will take care of your calcium level..

Yeah i think about two more weks and he nitrates should b under control the tank is coming along a lo better since i sopped he vodka dosing and just run th bio pellets she is a lo clearer now also so once they drop i might be looking for that hawkins :biggrin::biggrin:
