Sps too much light?

too much light can definitely be detrimental to coloration of sps and growth

lack of nutrients combined with too much light is a double whammy

No optics
The fixture is 3 heat sinks 24 3w Cree each heat sink over my 75 gal so it's alot of LEDs but even with no optics the spread is not very good if sps is not directly under the LEDs it wont color up right now I have my LEDs running around 80-90% power because I thought the more light the better but I'm not so sure now ! Well it's all trial and error!

How about buying a par meter and seeing what your par is , then determine from there.

In all seriousness I had wingo test it once but I've adjusted since then wish I could borrow one why r they so damn expensive I've heard a bunch of reef clubs have there members chip in few bucks each and buy them and share as a group! Maybe we can buy an MR par meter : )

There is a company that u can rent one. It's not so bad , just don't break it! If u google it u can find it. U obviously have to put a deposit in case u break it. They send u a return label and everything.
