Not sure of the name (if anyone knows?) but when I got it about a month maybe a little longer, it was mostly white with a lot of blue tips.
Since then the blue tips have faded to only a few and the white part was sort of zothanelli brown? I was slowly bringing up my AI Sol lights as I did not want to bleach any thing so I was guessing it did not have enough light thats why it was brown?

Any way my light have slowly been turned up and everything ells in the tank is
Coloring up nicely even this peice is starting to look better.

My question is if you look at the two photos below, the first when I first got it.
Look at the bace of the coral and compair to second current photo it is clearly
Growing encrusting the bace, is this unusual to be growing at the bace and not so much up ?

It looks like A.solitaryensis. Tabling most likely maricultured. If you put it on it's side the growth should be faster. Good flow, moderate light. Usually near bottom does best.

Thanks sig45 I'll give it a try. I did place it on its side about a month ago and nothing new yet? But it was up high.
I will take your advice and try it in moderate light and lower in the tank?
Wish me luck everything ells I see growth & color but not this one :banghead:
