Yellow Tipped Birdsnest

I picked up a frag from Coral Theory the other day. I never actually saw a birdsnest before with yellow/lime tips. I was curious if anyone here has one and was able to maintain colored tips.

It's hard for me to get a clear shot because of placement.

Hey buddy I have a colony ,about a year still yellow tipped with lime body,I have it right under the LEDs ,ill see if I can get a pic for you..

That's encouraging. As common as birdsnest are, I don't recall seeing this one in anyones tanks around here??? Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough

i had best luck with color under t5's it didnt like my leds but then again it went from t5 to led, friend has a chunk of it from mine under mh and is doing fine

Rich ... no offense, but that coral looks like crap in your tank ... ummmmmm I am going to have to come over and save it ... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. :cheers:

Nice piece I stopped there today that didnt have any left,I have a green body one with blueish polyps under t5 mh and still has color.I just got into some sps I have 2 birdsnest I like them because of the bushy polyps they look nice and fluffy ,they grow nicely too.I hope to get a neon green one.
