No nitrate or phosphate dying corals

@reefr4eva what teat kit do you use to test for nitrates and how high do you let them go

I only use salifert test kits ..and my nitrates as of yesterday are at 25 ppm

Remove the chaeto for few weeks, i use to grow chaeto more then anybody you know, yes "0" nitrate, i dose Nitrate, but the color of SPS got bad, i stop grow Macro Algae , my Nitrate is 25 ppm, more color, i will try to bring to 2 to 5 ppm, i use Denitrification filter ( home made) go easy low, i got Sulfur deficiency ( Triton test) that make build my own filter.

The chaeto actually grew more using the flourish ..as far as gfo or carbon I wouldn't know as I never used either of them..I only run my skimmer 3 days a week

That sou d's crazy to me but only because I've never done it.

Only now after slow adding did nitrate and phosphate begin to rise. Nitrate got to 20 abd phosphate barely detectable. Stopping nitrates continuing phos for now.

The whole tank ended up recycling lost a few things but now everything seems ok.
