Too much flow for SPS?

I know that SPS needs a lot of flow, but can there be too much flow on them? I have a high rock and my MP10 is about 3" from the rock where I wanted to put some SPS. Is this too much direct flow?

I would never put direct flow on Sps. They love flow but not direct flow. You can cause damage to the sps tissue with direct flow.

Dace is correct, direct flow is no good and will ruin the tissue...

I couldn't find a new location in my tank so it looks like i'm going to relocate it to your tank!!!
