I would also add the carbon slowly. You can strip your water too quickly and cause a world of probs with your corals.

I would think that the toxins from the dead worms would do more damage than stripping the water.

Not true. If you strip your water to quick it will cause a sh*tload of problems.I would try to scoop as many dead worms out as possible or try to siphone them out. This will at least slow down the toxic crap from them. A little carbon goes a long way in taking out chemicals. Trust me, start off slow with the carbon

Ok. How about just a couple bags of chemi pure???? I will put them in the sump baffles to make sure they get flow.

There are not that many worms at this poin that is why I want to get the meds in asap! Maybe there are 20 or so on the glass of a 75. But I know that they are like roches. Many hiding

I would stick with straight carbon. It will work better than the chemi-pure IMO. Just start with a 1/2 a cup and work up from there. I would do a 1/2 cup, then change that out for a cup about 4-5 days later and so on

Arrgh I guess I will have to get the reactor set up... Guess it can't hurt to have it setup. Need to goto hardware store and get hoses and pvc connectors. I have a manifold off of my main pump to connect it to.

Siphon out as many as u can with airline tubing.
They probably hitchhiked in with macro.

anthony....i got carbon, chemi pure, tlf150 with hose, valve and pump. i'm off today, call me i have a simpler solution for you. i can get you up and running in 5 minutes.

Well I don't think that it is ICH, i think that it may actually be velvet. I can't find one of the female anthias, I thought that it may have jumped. But my daughter just called me and said that the other one looks like there is stuff all over it. Well there is some spots but also looks like a white sheen over the whole fish

I am gonna try to get it out and get into meds, but not sure it will make it this is how the tang looked sorta..

Well today marks the date of going fallow. Last anthias was alive but barely moving when I just got home. Took a little work getting her out, but we did, and I put her out of her misery! Poor fish.

So looks like mid-June for adding new fish to the system. But I plan on getting new ones now, and just qt'n them for the whole time. I will have a seperate fish only tank that I will set up, with no meds to keep an eye on the fish. The 2 fish that made it, the male anthias and the goby are still in the hospital tank and they are looking ok.

Well My tank is still fallow! Still have my CUC and my shrimp moving around! Can't wait to get some fish in this thing!

My corals are doing pretty well, the acans I got from Zuska are growing wonderfully, need to get them on some tiles for more room to grow out.

Still haven't gotte my lazy a$$ around to setting up the Apex yet. Need to just get it done.

I do have flatworms now. Have FWE that I am ready to hit the tank with and thanks to TomToothDoc I have a nice carbon setup to run (borrowed)

Well I ran FW treatment yesterday and most of them are gone, but not all of them. I guess I will have to run again. But I am going to wait a week or so to do it again. Need to get more FWE.

I ran carbon after the treatment, and I have to say that I cannot believe the water. The actual colors of the corals look better with the polished water. I may need to run carbon after this.

Well I finally got my Lazy A$$ into gear and got my Apex all configured. Hopefully my Temp will stabalize at the right spot now.

I really like the feeding option along with the email alerts.

I have to say it might be some of the best money spent so far!

My fallow period is now OVER!!!!! Tank should be rid of ICH/VELVET. But I am going on vacation soon, so I will probably just wait till after vaca to get some fish. I have a decent contact that can get me some fish from SA or Proaquatics, so I may have to hit him up for some clowns

I think you could prob tag along if you want. I will let you know when I am ready to order and I will check with my buddy. I prob have to try to get it approved to run here though...
