Thanks for the compliments Sharn! I had a great time hanging out with you and Sue the other night. I have to take some updated pics for you. My tank is your tank! Whatever you need buddy!
Thanks Scarf! As always there is always room for improvement and when I look at some of these other tanks on this forum I am almost embarassed to post! But its not about that. Its about the community! :grouphug: Thanks again!
Well the thing is I live in a Co-op and I am on the first floor. There is a basement right below my apartment. The grounds manager was nice enough to let me take a peek downstairs to see how things looked and my living room sits across 2 huge joists. The apartments were put up somewhere in the late 40s early 50s and the construction is solid. So to answer your question I did no reinforcement of any kind. Hopefully I never have to! :splitspin
Your tank looks awesome and your thread has me excited because I am setting up a 175 gallon on Monday and I can't wait to get started after seeing your tank.
Thanks for the compliments. I think half the fun is in the intial set up, planning and getting your hands wet. Let me know if you need plumbing parts cause I have a ton left over.
Hey Chief. I have some pics that I took about 2 kmonthes ago all the way in the begining of this thread. I'm working on some more up to date pics but I've been running around like a mad man. Updates soon I promise!
LOL yes yes I too am a pic addict. I love looking at them but get lazy in taking them if that makes any sense. My digital cam as been down so I'm looking for a gooc deal on a new one. My next pics should hopefully show some new growth!
