Upgrading from a 90 Gallon to 140 Gallon.

Dace, Your tanks always look great, if I may ask a question...
I was very consistent over the summer and corals grew but I don't like the chore part of it.
Are you still dosing the 140 or have you switched to a calcium reactor?
I am considering automating the elements part of maintenance but unsure which is simply easiest

After running my system for 6 months without filter bags I decided to take my tank to the next level.
I decided to order from
Filterbag.com
Great price but must buy 25 minimum.
I did alot of reading about nylon mesh and felt. Mesh got excellent reviews but I don't see it keeping the water as pristine as felt. So i went with felt bags. Another issue I had is since I upgraded from Atb 840v2 to a Atb 8.5 Deluxe. The skimmer did not fit in sump so I had to cut out a section of baffle before the filter sock area so I can sit the pump in that area. Now the 14" long filter bags are too long and sit on pump so I order 25 4" ring 8 " long 100 micro filterbags which should be perfect in the filter bag area. I know that these will probably clog up quicker since they are smaller, but with 25 to rotate as I use 3 at a time I should be good.
Now I've gone from water changes every 3 weeks to every two weeks.
Other then dosing two part and magnesium and Lugols solution.
Now I will be dosing
Elos Amino Acid
Zeovit products
K Balance strong to keep my potassium at 380
B Balance
Sponge power

I have to agree with Reefoman on the bubble magus. I just tested my Alk and notice levels very low. And notice the pump only dose once instead 6 x a day. Thank god I check twice a week. Going to look into calcium reactor. Never had trouble with doser pump. Hope it doesn't do it the other way over dosing Alk.

thats some crazy list. tank looks good, post updated pics and let me know if you ever want to trade some sticks.
How is that skimmer working out Dave? Nice tank bro. I was looking for those dragons too. Is he still selling anymore frags? How is the ATI fixture? Do you still like it? I am looking at the Giesemann Futura now as an alternative to halide unless the ATI PM is worth it for growth and color.
