Nothing special as far as updates. I got 2 brs dosing pumps the full Shabang from brs so I can start dosing. Need to get more outlets and re-organize under my stand. Gotta fit these 2 one gallon containers for cal and alk somewhere. Then find somewhere to put the dosers.

Just did a water change going to do full testing shortly.

Took some top down shots for poops and giggles.

What's the ratio for water to vinegar when I wanna clean my wp25?

Do I run it in the water and vinegar or just sit it in?

How long? I don't have another powerhead to use in the mean time. Just would have flow from my return.

20-30 minutes is fine. 10:1 water to vinegar...but who measures lol

Let it soak for 45 mins or so then took a toothbrush to it. Can't leave it on else mode anymore have it back to w1 s2. Loving the flow.

I have 2 blue eyed Anthias. 1 is starting to get some black streaks on his fins. Is he turning male?

Found a hermit crab steal an empty shell that some mushrooms were attached on. The big Shroom detached itself just has little babies on it. Thought it was a cool picture.

Just did a water change so I tested my tank to start taking notes so I can hook up my 2 part dosing set up. Just need to get another power strip and 2 digital timers.

Anyone know why my calcium would be so high? Is it bc my alk is at 7?

Couldn't test mag I lost the glass vials for my Red Sea kit

Tested again today. Alk shows 6.7 now.

Alk went from 7.0 to 6.7 in 1 week.

It looks you lost the balance your cal is pushing the alk down find what's your mag. Are u dosing kalkwasser

I will I'm waiting on the glass vial from Red Sea. No I never dosed kalkwasser. I don't know how or where to get it. Just figured I'd do the 2 part

Ok so I still never got the vials to test mag. I really wanna start dosing. I re arranged the entire wiring today and make everything nice and neat. Here's some pics!

So I have come to realize that these timers I got only program 1 on, 1 off time. This is not good. I'm going to have to research a timer that can have multiple on/off settings. I remember someone posting here somewhere.

1 of my dial timers I've had for a while took a crap. Got 1 on break today during work will be replacing it when I get home around 10pm. I have the blues on only all day

Should I bring my alk to 9 slowly, or 8? Does it really matter as it's going to be stable now moving forward? 9 seems like the best goal.

Just get a simple controller, like a reef keeper light if your on a tight budget
