well i was running it a little wet so that collected in like 1 day...now i'm running a little bit more dry so its thicker and in 1 week and a half the cup is almost full....now that u reminded me I have to empty it tonight....I noticed that the skimmate doesnt really stink....

I finally re-aquascaped and finally caught that darn sixline...i put him in the aggressive tank with tangs...trigger...eel...and damsels...he got beat up for about 2 minutes but now he relaxed...now that he's out all my fish and inverts are swimming around a little more freely...and I notice that my peppermint is finally out and about picking at aipastia....:biggrin:

I finally got RO/DI so lets see the difference...cause so far my tap water has been working...I have seen how dirty our tap is though...yuk...but everymorning its freezing cold and soooo tasty....
you're not getting algae with the tap?
No not really....a couple of times i had red hair algae but it goes away...i think my scarlets take care of that for me....i do get coraline algae...any other algae is eaten up by my cleaner crew so i don't really notice it....but tap really is dirty...had to see it to believe it...i left a white rag under running water for a couple of days and it turned brown....crazy and i drink alot of tap water....YUK
