A bit more has happened the tank is now finished. A mere puddle 8O 210 gals. The main sump is 410 gals with 2 55gal aux sumps to finish it off. All the sumps are down in the basement. So gallonage at the moment is 730 gals (must be room for some more ............some where :lol: )
Return pump is a Gen x Mak4, plus the skimmer feed and closed loops are also run with these pumps. The skimmer is a reef concepts super pro 4 ft skimmer which has a little giant for ciculation on a beckett venturi plus the Gen x pump feeding the skimmer runs through a Beckett 1408 foam head injector assembly. which uses a quality John Guest 1/4" speedfit air regulator valve. This should give excellant skimming. Plus i am using 300 mg's of o3 injected into one or either of the venturi's which is drawn through a large air dryer. I have started another thread now as this is a bit drawn out. The new tank but not in Wales :wink:

Some great news. I just recieved a cd from my father back in wales of pics of this tank which i never new existed. I thought my ex wife had destroyed them :evil:

These pics are the last 2 i have of the tank before it was stripped. You will notice the overgrown look. Everything ws overgrown and untrimmed. Some times nature needs a hand with fragging etc.
