Finally getting around to posting some specs and pics. Excuse me if they are out of sequence

This is my second tank, my first I broke down 3 years ago when I got seperated and couldnt spend enough time maintaining it. The first try was done on the cheap and everything suffered for that. I vowed to do this properly this time around so I enlisted a friend of mine who runs tanks for a living. All the tech here is a combination of his knowledge and hundreds of hours spent on RDO.(Thanks guys- I couldnt have done it without you! )

Tank build started in Jan 2006, water in Early March.
1/2 inch glass for display, 10mm (0.4") for the sump. Built by hand on a hand made 4" square steel galvanised frame.
Cabinet professionally built (by the pub maker who installed my pub) out of specially sealed cherry wood. Open hood.

Return pump 1200gph no name brand (spare on hand in case of failure!)
Powerheads, 2 2000l (500gph) Aquamedics and one 3000l (750gph) Aquamedic- now with 10 second alternating wave action (controlled by Aquatronica controller.
Aquatronica Controller and PH, Salinity temp and redox probes.
Deltec AP851 skimmer (This thing rocks!)
RODI unit to solenoid to AquaMedic dosing pump to AM kalkstirrer- Dosing pump and solenoid controlled by AM float switch.
Tank lights: 4 96w T5s in Deltec units, 2 blue, two white
2 individual 250w AM Aquastarlight Metal Halide Fixtures (recent addition)
Sump Lights: Cheapo unit 2 blue and one white 54w T5s.

Photo period controlled by Aquatronica:
Sump: on at 14H00, off at 09H00 (19 hrs)
Blue T5s: on at 10H30, off at 22H30 (12 hours)
White T5s : on at 16H30, off at 22H00 (5.5 hours)
MHs : On at 17H00, off at 21H30 (4.5 hours)

Sump (around 500l or 120 ga)
Has a 3" thruflow live sand bed in the refugium and 3 different types of Macroalgae.
Intend to fill spaces with Live rock fragments, but this is taking a while.

Main Display- originally was going to be a FOWLR, but that changed when I found RDO

Thin layer of Aqua Medic sand
Currently around 130kg (280lbs) of liverock with intention to add another 50kg (110 lbs)

2 Occi clowns (tank bred)
2 maroon clowns
2 small and one medium regal tang

You will have a very impressive setup once it gets established and has a chance to mature. I'm already jealous of your bar!

Now a few pics as at last night....

I am deliberately stocking the LHS first as I have not yet decided what to do with the RHS, and will probably be adding more rock there soon.

Thanks Crissy! Watch this space, i took the first step yesterday and bought a almost new deltec skimmer in anticipation of my next tank.... just dont seem to learn!
JKDman, i have a pair of them, the big one is pretty grumpy, but loves that carpet and recently is 'hosting' in my goniapora. The small one hosts in my sand anenome. I am not that happy with them and may swap them out for something else as they fight all the time and terrorise my other fish...

Some new pics of my new livestock. I picked up 3 elegances, a hammer and a fulvia. The elegances are all different colours, 2 have settled well, one appears to have been damaged in collection/transit, dont think it'll survive....
