Where did you find 18" VHO super actinics & the fixture??? I NEED THOSE!

What about a darker glaze over the paint on the stand/canopy? You're still going to have the light edging on the tank..unless that 'takes' the glaze too..? I like it the way it is now too, but if it's bugging you...

thanks kathy... hellolights has a retro kit for 24" so i bought that and bought 18" bulbs instead of 24". cut the retro down the middle and adjusted the sockets on the sheet metal it comes with so it would fit the 18" bulb ;).. i think all in all for the whole setup cost me 145.00 with bulbs not bad...
