Very nice new regal! Im sure it will fit right in that mansion home he's got now...

Question. That video in your signature, is that of the 450 or this tank? And if its the 450g, then where is the video of this tank?

this tank and video IS the ONE and ONLY 450g DT/900g system... the old 450g SYSTEM has been upgraded!
the social wrasse is awesome....had one qt'd at the lfs but some how it ended up in their display..... chance of catching it is slim to none :irked:.

nice score on the regal.
Actually both fish came from the same LFS...Rick (NYreefNoob) and I each picked up a 'EATING' Regal and social wrasse at GREAT prices I've since seen more longfin wrasses there, and they are only $20...
Even better, Rick and I went to his "secret" (you'd never guess) LFS yesterday and scored BIG TIME...will post some pics, later.

try way more....lol.

curious to see how the male will interact with the female.

mine kept his female in this area under the rock.....he would only "let her out" during feeding time.
i guess he's an old fashion male----likes to keep the female barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen.....

please no pm about chauvinistic remarks....it's just a joke.

with the 2 femaleS...I originally had a pair, but my female Lamarck angel, quickly outgrew the M Zebra...the Lamarck changed to male, and the M Zebra, reverted to female. So hopefully this much bigger Zebra with be King of the Hill...doesn't matter if Lamarck reverts to female (very little difference in appearance)...I also had/have a Bellus pr....they were separated before the tank upgrade, and the M changed back to F (BUT, the color pattern is wrong)...when I put them back together in the new tank the original F changed to M, so I have a pr., again.

Did everyone follow that?

so you will have 3 male genicanthus angels? i suppose you tank may be big enough.

i have a male swallowtail, a female swallowtail, a female bellus, and a female watanabei......the male definitely is king of them all.

good luck with all the sex changing angels.......sounds like a porno from thailand doesn't it????.....lol

Yeah, hopefully no problems...Zebra will be in QT for a few weeks, then 'acclimation' chamber for a day or 2, so tankmates can see him!
Would like to get F watanabei, and that should be it with angels.
Regal is finally getting a little bolder, and swimming around the whole tank.

Last night, my Naokoae wrasse was on a rampage, flashing/displaying for my (male...I thought) social/longfin wrasse...who, in turn, was displaying for him! Hopefully you can tell from the pics, why the Naokoae is sometimes called a 'sharkfin' wrasse. When the top fin was 'up' his upper body changed from black/dark-dark red to white/iridescent blue, and tail was iridescent blue...swimming back and forth, the length of tank...very hard to get a good pic...unfortunately I didn't think to get a video! MAYBE, next time!

picked up a few new corals in the past few days, some XXL pieces and some nice sps colonies...just about time to start selling the extra pieces that have no place in the DT.

Those purple and yellow tangs getting along?
Yeah, the yellow and 1 purple have been together for 6 years, the second purple was added in June when they all went into the new tank. They are best friends...always swimming together, don't seem to bother anyone.
There are 9 tangs in there (may add 2 more)

Hey albano for the stand did u use plywood to build the stand for ur 650g?
the stand was built with 2X4s and with six 4X4s for legs, with a plywood top. The side 'skins' and shelves are 1/2" oak.
