Can you unplug the skimmer, sure, that plug, no that one, no not that one that one, this one, NOOOOO that one, oohhh this one right here, I said THAT one, the black one by your leg, I got it now, hows that, plug it back in that was the return pump, OOOPS.
OK, you got me...but, I have started to organize the various plugs and 'power strips' so that I can quickly find what I'm looking for...many plugs are labeled and certain equipment is on my 'emergency generator' lines.

Once I re-do the sump room everything will be much more organized. (I hope)

That is one heck of a setup. I was just poking a little fun, It's tough keeping those pesky wires in order. I'm local 3 IBEW, I look at my wiring and just shake my head, I'm constantly re-arranging everything and am still not happy. Do you have a separate service for your setup?

Not yet...am presently in process of ordering 17-20K watt 'whole house' generator, and at time of installation, the electrician will add some additional tank only circuits.
My present generator runs the house 'necessities' (refrig/boiler/well pump/microwave/few lights) and the main pump for the big tank....time to have everything covered!

nice....my next wish list.

how do you determine how big of a generator do you need? is it a natural gas, propane, gasoline, nuclear power(in your case....lol)?

if you don't mind would you please pm me the specifics like what size and cost of unit plus installation.

btw happy thanksgiving to you and your loved ones......including your reef creatures.....lol.

for $100, ($ well spent) they'll send a local electrician to your home to determine your exact needs, and figure out full installation costs. I would need an LP version...up here in the 'country' we don't have natural gas available.
This unit is even capable of running my central AC.
