Decided to go a little over kill on my new system! For starters I purchased a new 120 Oceanic Tech tank. I also purchased a large system one year ago which is where 90% of the equipment is coming from. My sumps will be located in my basement a 9*9 room along with everything else including a 70 gal oceanic frag/grow out tank. Looking around a 250-300 gal system.

Main Equipment List. 75 gallon sump, PM bullet 2 38"XL skimmer powered by a 1750 gph Pan world Pump, MCR Calcium reactor, a 20 CPR refugium, Coralife 1 hp chiller and the main pump is a 2000 gph Blueline Pump which will supply the display tank, frag tank, Carbon reactor, and GFO reactor.
I also have a set of sea swirls that i am planning on modifying to fit into the techs brace system. Would like to also

For lighting im going to use my cheap 4ft fixture with 2 250 DE MH. I plan on upgrading to 2 250 LumenMax Elites not sure what ballasts yet and not sure if i will add T-5 or PC also. For the frag tank i got a 250 DE Reef Optix pendent with a 250 Ice cap Ballast along with a 36" 96 watt PC.

Will mainly be keeping SPS that will come from my existing 100 gal tank.

Thanks been working on the plumbing and frag tank this weekend will get pic up soon. Got the manifold done its powered by the main pump and feed the CA,Carbon reactor, GFO, one extra, display tank, frag tank and will as do my water changes off from there. As for the Chiller Im going to plumb it into the next room before going up through the floor to the display tank that way any heat put off by the chiller doesnt blow on the sump area.

Getting a little lost in my plumbing. The only thing I have glued is the manifold so far. Return will be done in 1 inch

Starting at the main pump I have it going up, then making a loop around the back of the stand using flex pipe to make it to the manifold. Not sure if i like the loop idea yet. Im tring to stay away from using 90 degree angles. The manifold starts with a 45 after the flex pipe, on to a Tee that will only be used for W/C, next is a shut off valve and then 4 Tees with 1/2 inch valves to feed reactors ext. Next I have a Tee the one going up goes to the chiller then off to the display tank the other will go to the frag tank. Of course trying to design it for easy mantaince

For the Skimmer I wanted it to pull from the overflow side of the sump. Hense that pipe coming off the bulk head inside the sump. Now after the gate valve I threw in 2 90 to get it into the sump. Should i have tee for a breather first? Any suggestions would be great.

For the overflows im running 2 1inchs from the dislpay One will Tee of to the fuge I just gotta make sure i clean that window when feeding them into the sump

Well last week i finished the plumbing around the sump and prop tank. Got my RO bin and WC bin all hooked up for easy WC. I did a test run to make sure there was no leaks. Just found one and then started filling the 70 gal prop tank. When it got to 4 inch from the top the bottom seam went and started leaking. I like this tank cause its doesnt have a center brace so i removed all the silicone, cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and re silicone the entire tank on 10/20. Tonight ill give it a test and see if she holds water if not ill be looknig for a new prop tank. Also just got my filters for my 180 gal day spectrapure ro/di filter so i can finally get that online.

Ones i get everything set to go the hard part will be removing my 105 and putting the 120 in its place. Im going to put all the coral in the prop tank which it will sit for at least 2 weeks till i get the rocks into the new tank. Still dont have anything big enough to hold the 140-150 lbs of rock in while i swap.

So heres some new updates fixed the 70 gal frag tank and got that filled. My RO top of and WC setup is up and running just gotta move all my coral out into the frag tank. I also picked up a 75 RR tank that will hold my rock and fish during the transfer. Then i can move the old tank out and punch the hole for the plumbing to come up from downstairs.

Some pics I think im happy with the set up
