Looking good John. Are those the orange palys to the left of the damsel in the 3rd pic from the bottom?

In post #14 is the last pic of the cap, the green cap that you got from Kasei? Wish mine was gettin growth like that.

your right for both questions, it's a different rock though, same palys.

I love jumping ahead. Who need to follow some stupid wait list. In ten years, everybody will have this coral, since toadstools grow fast.

is that the tank on your website with that custom cap?

yes, I built that a long time ago, when I set up this new tank I gave the old stand and hood to someone on manhattan reefs, they are enjoying it now :)

update

I spent some time yesterday organizing the electrical side of my stand.
I labeled as much as I could and made a master sheet for the power strips.
It's better than it was but there is still a mess of wires behind the power strips. oh well.

all the sps are back in the main tank after one month and two red bug treatments.
they turned brown, but grew at the same time. PC lights were not enough for them.
next time I qt sps I'll set up the 175 mh I got from kris.
after 1/2 hour all the polyps are out and looking good.

the coral is not set in place, I just stuck them in randomly, where ever,
just to get them in the tank. sometime this week I'll cement them back in place.

Dave that's cool about the chiller ;) now we can load you up with frags :)

and introducing...

the newest members of my tank. straight out of Brooklyn yellow tang and piggy. those are nicknames, they have other names but to protect the innocent they will be withheld.
I got these guys from spykes who had raised them from little fish.
apparently they survived a prolonged electrocution and semi-starvation , spykes was a great dad, they are now fat and happy. the hippo will eat anything thus his alias, "piggy", yellow tang figure out for yourself.
