under construction 125 reef

Well everyone else has one, and now I get one too. My new tank thread. I am currently in the process of seting up my 125. I have a renduring of the satand set up but it's done throught hte paint program so it looks like crap. I will post photos of where it's location is realitave to the hosue so you can get a better idea. I am going to build the stand as wall unit to mount flush to the wall to give it an "in-wall" appearence. thanks you for any questions and comments and/or advice :thanks:

yeah !!! it loaded, not that its an all great pic but whatever. What do you's think? The gray areas on the doors are going to be a smoked plexiglass with lighting inside and the side shelving is also going to be lite

lookin good steve. how many frags you got in there. i dont no but it might be the picture the lighting is pretty low. but everything looks great nice job. that must of been alot of work.

be smart and on urs do MH bulbs 14000k ur not going to need the actnic supplement.

How much you paying? Looks like the rock is worth more than the rest of the set up. Just my .02

Tank is using an overflow box, my opinion is, if you are going to go that big of a tank, you sould use a ree-ready one or drill it for drains.

Otherwise, it looks pretty good considering it's in the basement

make the tank shimmer. houses rec. on a reef ready system is well worth it. less problems and more water circulation.

yeah i wanted to go reef ready but this was like a quick present to myself (lol). See the problem is I just bought a house with this nice wall in the dinning room and w/ my 55 um against it, it looked to empty. And I am a very impulsesive buyer, so I so it it looked good to me so I bought it. But I will be getting to more over flows.

And I am going with mh's I have a 2 250 watt 10k s and I am gettin another 250 watt the funds are back. I want to get 14k's to replace the 10's. HOw do they look ? DO they give you good growth w/ a little blue tint?

As for those pc's I beleive its a coral life set up. Not sure when I'm getting rid of them, but I'll keep you in mind.

Not bad, nice looking tank what lights are you getting by the way that you dont want?
