I got a 120g AGA tank from Gotham Aquatics (thanks Tito) and a 1500gph overflow kit from glass-holes (crazy guys). I drilled it and put it on the stand to see how it looks. It was only then that I realized that the rear did not sit flush. As suggested by Russ, I'm going to put a layer of Owen's corning rigid insulation between the tank and stand. As soon as it is level I'm going to leak test (fingers crossed). Here are some pics. Of course I still have some cleaning up to do.

I know what you mean. I like the idea of having the built-in overflows that say they skim from all levels of the tank, but I like how this looks and it means I have a little more available real estate. Plus I'm thinking that with enough water movement in the tank I won't be worried about skimming only from the surface.

Great job on adding the overflow!
Thanks. It's a case of "if I knew then what I know now." The holes I had drilled in my current 46g bowfront were messy with chipped edges, and to0 close to the plastic rim. This time I took it slow and made sure to follow all the advice I was given. It took just about 20 mins to drill each hole with mimimum chipout (almost clean).
