Don't want to be the potential bearer of bad news, but they are always hit or miss. Some eat it, others don't. Most are notorious opportunistic scavengers.

The one I have does not. However, my CBB will eat the small ones except for the big ones.

I caught mine 1 by 1 assasin style. The only one I couldn't catch that easily I waited and waited and waited for and got him one day, brought him right to house for trigger food LOL. The other 2 went back to the LFS.

I actually caught two of mine in my 75 very quickly. The first one I caught within 45 seconds. The second one got smart and it took me a few hours, but I did get him.

I can post pix of the trap if anyone would like.

LMAO, I might not have had the success I had if I tried the netting routine. The trap was a homemade trap and was easy as pie.

A few repercussions actually. First of all you won't be able to keep many, if any inverts (shrimp, snails, crabs). Not sure what size your tank is, but you'd need a minimum of a 4' tank, preferrably 5' or 6'. They are one of the smaller Triggerfish but they do like to swim.

Second, they will most likely eat any fish they can fit into their mouths. The fish compatability list is somewhat short.

They are a nice fish for a FO, semi-aggressive to aggressive setup.
