Tunicates (or Sea Squirts) are some of the most interesting organisms I’ve come across in the reef aquarium hobby. They come in an incredibly wide range of colors and shapes. The downside to keeping tunicates is often times they have very specific nutritional requirements that are not well documented. Heck, many of these tunicates are misidentified as sponges; that’s a bad start to understanding their nature. We decided to feed ours a combination of different foods and so far, it is working out. I hope these continue to do well in our system because these tunicates look amazing.
