2012 MACNA in Dallas welcomed many coral&fish vendors from every part of United States and they didn’t disappoint show attendees by bringing some of the most beautiful and healthy marine creatures, including sponges, photosynthetic and non- photosynthetic corals, clams, anemones and other sessile invertebrates. I don’t know if you agree with me, but as my years in the hobby are passing I see a radical shift in popularity from one group of invertebrate species to another  in reefing world every so often. I remember when Zoanthids were the coolest thing to have and their prices skyrocketed, then came the time of SPS frags and now I see vendors stocking their frag tanks mainly with LPS species (lobos, acans, sclolymias and others) as well as colorful rock anemones that are so beautiful they became a new must-have on my list. Here are some of the most remarkable species I managed to take pictures of:

The promised wallpaper:) (click on an image to load high-res version of it and then right-click to save it on your desktop). The wallpaper is free for non-commercial use.
