This massive amphipod, measuring 34cm, was recently discovered in an ocean trench over 7km deep off the coast of New Zealand.  Our calls to Gresham at Reef Nutrition inquiring if they were planning on offering it in their line of reef foods was met with a suspicious “No Comment!” (j/k).  We have a feeling that this guy is NOT reef safe.  LINK
