skyThe Nine Elms Development in London is going to add a 90 foot swimming pool, enclosed in glass, that will be suspended 10 stories above ground. The aquarium pool is connected between two apartment buildings. How about just swimming to your neighbors house? The aquarium pool is the creation of Irish developer Ballymore. The pool will be 9.8 feet deep, 82 feet long and 16 feet wide. “My vision for the Sky Pool stemmed from a desire to push the boundaries in the capability of construction and engineering,” said Sean Mulryan, the CEO of Ballymore Group, “The Sky Pool’s transparent structure is the result of significant advancements in technologies over the last decade. The experience of the pool will be truly unique; it will feel like floating through the air in central London.” Swimmers will be able to look down at the street below while they go for a dip. However, being able to swim in this amazing human aquarium, or look at your neighbors swimming, comes at a pretty steep price. The smallest apartment for sale, in this very trendy London neighborhood, is listed for 1.2 million dollars. Maybe you can just make friends with someone who lives there?  If not, no one can stop you from looking up from the street below.  MORE
