The latest update to the article is that the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) issued a letter to Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums (JAZA). The letter essentially informed Jaza that they would need to stop using dolphins caught in the Taiji hunt or WAZA would suspend the Japanese organization’s membership. In response JAZA stated it would suspend use of the Taiji Dolphins. This move has been applauded by conservation groups . MORE
