How often are you dosing Elos amino acids??

been only dosing fuel and have so far seen some good results. just ordered the elos to try it and see if there is any difference.

Elos is strong start off with 1 drop a day.. Even though they say per certain amount of gallons..

But 1 drop for how many gallons??

I think that if you dose 1 drop in 5 gallons, will be diferent if dosing in 100 gallons. Didn?t it?

No, one drop per day for the first week.. Then try 2 drops the following week and go up weekly until your at the suggested dose.. Which is not per day..

Of course That's why I suggest a drop per day.. Maybe even every other day...

is this one of the amino acids that you have to turn your skimmer off for? i know bright well brand recommends turning off skimmer

The recommendation is just for a few minutes, hours or days?

tobin should get a kick back from elos this thread got me to try this stuff I have a 125 and been doing 3 drops every other day I wont be able to tell if its doing anything because its seems like my sps is improving by the week ever since I made my led fixture
I'm going to start doing 1 drop per day I dont know if it's just under my leds but the amino acids look so cool when they hit the water

Are Amino aciids for a particular group of corals? I have a mixed reef mostly Lps and where interested in getting some elos ive read up on it but nowhere states coral type + can't find this stuff nowhere!

I got mine from Greenwich Aquaria.. I would not reccomend useing aminos unless you have an established low nutrient system... Amino acids benefit almost everything in you system.. Even hair algae.. So if you decide to go with aminos instead of feeding more... Please follow don't follow the directions(just my opinion) dose 1/4 of what they tell you to dose and watch you corals and algae growth..

Try to get your trates below 10 before you consider aminos.. I overdosed aminos and had beautiful long wavy hair algae for about 2 weeks in my sump/whole system right now,,lol..

Can i dose even if my phosphate is at .007? If not how much do I have to bring it down and how? Im running phosphate remover already.

Keep running the phosphate remover and change out as the level goes up and watch the meat your adding to your system I gave up on phosphate foods a while back but fed live pods..

Last week, my saw that my nitrates increased from 0 to 5ppm. I think I'm getting too heavy with the dosage


I made WC, but it no take affect. What can i do now?
