Absolutletly right I had the same problem try everything with no result until I try SB.It is a slow process but the ressults are greats.You should try it wont regret it.

I may also give it a try. I have a small cyano outbreak and really don't want to "nuke" the tank with chemicals. How does Special Blend affect your protein skimmer? Do you have to keep it off or dial it down???
