Hello reefers,

I am building a fixture for friend of mine and we came up with this color combination. We will be running these led's with LDD-1000h and LDD 700H drivers with Coralux board and controller Storm-X. Please provide your feedback and suggestions and let us know if we have correct color combination. T

Thanks,

Rav

CREE XM-L2 Cool White LED

CREE's newest XM-L2 Cool White LED!

XLamp XM-L

High Lumen Output, High Efficacy

XLamp XM-L LEDs offer the unique combination of very high efficacy at very high drive currents, delivering 1000 lumens with 100 lumens-per-watt efficacy at 3 A in a compact, 5-mm x 5-mm footprint. With its breakthrough light output and efficacy, the XM-L LED is designed for very-high-lumen applications such as high-bay, indoor commercial or roadway lighting. The XM-L LED can lower total system cost by reducing the number of LEDs and optics in the system.

Technical Data:
Min. lumens 341 @ 700mA (25 degrees C)
3000mA max. drive current
5,000-8,300K color temperature
125 degree viewing angle (without secondary lens)
Forward voltage 2.85V @350mA, 3.05V @1500mA, 3.3V @3000mA
CREE part number XMLBWT-00-0000-0000U2051
Mounted on 20mm diameter star board, fits our drilled/tapped heatsinks
We recommend combining this LED with the LPC-60-1750 driver for better value

Hi Vio do you have any pictures of your fixture progress? If I decide to go with Cree XM-L can I still use the LDD-1000h Drivers to run these and if so then how may XM-L I can run on one 1000H driver?

Red and uv gives better growth? I doubt that. It's for looks and IMO it looks too "pink" with red and uv on even 20%. also promotes certain algae growth at least In my tank.
