Thanks. Unfortunatly I will have to put the project on hold. I got to head to Trinidad on Monday. Possibly I can get the wood work finished this week, stain and get one coat of poly on it before I head out. My line of work is really starting to interfer with my life.

That looks very nice. I hope you get to work on it again soon.

I'm also very impressed with the cleanliness and organization of your garage. I really need to work on mine...

I'll get to do the stain in about a month. My garage is a bit on the dirty side now.

What color are you going to Stain it? What sheen are you going to varnish it with? Satin, Semi or high gloss? Are you plannning on spraying or brushing? How many coats do you plan on applying? Stupid carpenter questions I guess. The questions, not the carpenter. Humor me please. :)

Not sure on the color yet. Probably will be cherry to match a currio cabinate I got for my wife that will be in the same room. Not sure on the sheen, but it will NOT be high gloss. I will be brushing. No way I could justify another toll on this progect. For the varnish I will put atleast two coats. The insides will be white. Probably a flat exterior paint.

Look forward to seeing it after the next phase. It may have been a while for you so I will say it. "Dont forget to wear a chemical respirator. The light headed feeling turns into a headache after an hour or so." :P

I am going to slide to near the garage door and turn on a box fan I keep in the garage. Should be fine. Never know I might enjoy a bit of "light headedness".
