No this has gone the way of all group DIY projects on this site.
Lots of talk and enthusiasm followed by deafening silence.

you almost sound bitter, Aaron. Are you still upset it rained on DIY day? :P

I'll be DIY'ing a BUNCH of stuff when I get back into town. SO far,
Stand
canopy
external overflow (If I don't buy the tank that way.)
Sump/fuge
Skimmer
a reactor. If I stay with lps/softies I'll probably make a kalk reactor instead of a calcium one.

Now I just have to design everything before I get back to NYC. Building the stuff will be the easy part.

Frank,
According to what the guy on RC wrote, he said it should come out to be around $120 with everything but the Co2 tank and the solenoid/valves I guess.

Aaron,
If your going to build a Ca reactor let me know. I'd like to come check it out :D.

Brett,
Got a long list for the DIY when you get back.

I'm heading to lowes now just to check out the prices.

did he include time, and gas running around getting all that stuff and the effort to assemble it?
